Jamie Lee Curtis has posted a mirror selfie where she proudly shows off her legs, stating that it is the "acceptance of 65".
Curtis recently turned 65 and it appears that the iconic movie star is embracing her age and has no intention of slowing down.
Her birthday, which fell the day before Thanksgiving, was marked by a trip to the gym where the actress graced fans with a selfie.
Showcasing herself in short shorts and an athletic long-sleeved top, Curtis accompanied the photo with the caption: “The morning after… Back to it... ACCEPTANCE of 65.”
Fans and followers were quick to express admiration for Curtis’ perspective. One person commented: "You are authentic, confident, smart, savvy and a natural beauty!"
A second said: "You are beautiful and more important, inspiring. It’s hard getting comfortable with aging - but I’m working on it and this gives me a nice boost in the right direction."
A third person wrote: "You’re truly an inspiration to those of us who are your age! Beautiful!"
Curtis gave credit to her fitness journey by tagging Nordic Body, a walking and fitness program designed for individuals over 50. The brand reshared her selfie with a message: “@jamieleecurtis You are beautiful and inspirational at any age. Honored and grateful to be your trainer. Keep up the great work.”
While Curtis has been relatively private about her fitness routine, a 2021 report by OK Magazine revealed that she alternates between yoga and Pilates. Additionally, she emphasized the benefits of a neighborhood stroll, stating, “I walk with girlfriends. [It’s] incredibly good for you.”

On her birthday, Curtis shared glimpses of her celebrations, including a 4:20AM microwave selfie, obtaining her Medicare card, moments of meditation, and indulging in cake. She captioned the post: “65th birthday photo essay in four photos!”
In July, at San Diego Comic-Con, she declared her refusal to let aging slow her down, emphasizing her busy schedule and extensive resume.
"I’m 65 years old this November," she said, according to PEOPLE. "I have no time to waste. I joke about it, but I’m going to die way sooner than later, and therefore, I have s*** to do!"

During a 2022 interview with InStyle, Curtis revealed her mantra as she gets older. "I have a motto now, as I am past that [Hollywood] sell-by date, which is, ‘If not now, when? If not me, who?’ I say it to myself every single day," she shared. "And after more than 40 years in the business, I am busier today than I have ever been in my entire life."
