In a viral video shared by a user named @odeiotedlasso, the Emmy-winningTed Lassostar was seen outside Royal Albert Hall when the confrontation began.
Although what the photographer in question said was unclear, Waddingham could be heard chastising them in response. “Oh my God, you’d never say that to a man,” she said. “Don’t be a d— otherwise I’ll move off. Don’t say ‘show me leg.’ No.”

In the clip, which has been viewed more than 1.2 million times on X, Waddingham, 49, could be seen continuing to lay into the photographer.
“I not only saw Hannah Waddingham but I saw Hannah Waddingham being pissed at an a–hole misogynistic prick photographer and calling him off on it and I never yelled MOTHER so loud,” the uploader who posted the video wrote. “This woman is a role model. Always, always call pricks out on their bulls—.”
On social media, fans praised Waddingham for calling out the photographer.
“I absolutely LOVE that she stands her ground and will not let people treat her like crap,” one X user wrote, with another observing, “It must be so exhausting having to educate old-school men like this – no wonder she walked away.”

The exchange comes after Waddingham recalled on the BBC Radio 2 podcast Michelle Visage’s Rule Breakers how her drama teacher once made fun of her appearance in front of her classmates.
“I had one drama teacher that said to the whole class: ‘Oh, Hannah will never work on screen because she looks like one side of her face has had a stroke,’” Waddingham said.
But she used the insult to fuel her fire as an actress. “I thought, ‘I will do. Come hell or high water, I will work on screen.’”
